Still life of a landscape

First Part: Silence is a bouquet Stuck in My Throat
Amid Iran’s boundless landscapes, plants breathe that at first glance go unseen. Plants whose roots stretch as far as the history of the Iranian plateau—guardians of the earth. They transform the part into the whole and make life flow through the land.

In this collection, a fragment of the whole has been extracted to place two different perspectives within a single frame, using photography, alternative printing, and the monotype technique. Two viewpoints that can rarely be focused on simultaneously—a reminder of how the part shapes the essence of the whole without drawing attention to itself, while still maintaining its own detached qualities.
